First, I want to talk about my hair cutting services and my tools of the trade. I really love a couple of brands when it comes to cutting, thinning, razoring, clipper cutting, trimming, fading, etc. Shark Fin Shears™ is my go-to for all scissor cutting. I really enjoy razor cutting, slide cutting, and texturizing but also enjoy a sharp blunt cut. For fades, military style, and clipper cuts, my favorite brand is TPOB™ (The Pissed Off Barber™). Despite the brand name, they have really nice sets which work very well together and allow me to execute a skin fade in twelve to fifteen minutes.
All clipper cuts and facial trims for men include a complimentary steamed towel service.
All haircuts are fun but my personal favorites to do are edgy, technical, and textured/faded. The more complex, the better.
I am also constantly learning the incredible depths of color theory. I attended The Art Institute for photography in 2003-4 and have played with light, color, and Photoshop ever since. Color theory happens to be one of my favorite things to be wrapped in.
Am I obsessed? Yes.
Have I experimented with every possible haircut and color for myself? Also yes.
Although I find absolute joy in morphing colors, chemical and color services are something I take very seriously. I begin each hair service by analyzing the health of your hair and scalp and deciding whether the desired result is possible without sacrificing the hair’s integrity.
I am confident in using these proven methods that work and a plan that I meticulously follow- no blind trial and error is allowed.
Finally, I want to talk more in depth about the health of your scalp and the strength of your hair. I offer therapeutic scalp and conditioning services, as well as a bonding-repair treatment. My services are aimed to make your hair more strong, vibrant, and healthy while giving you the results you want! Luckily, technology has advanced yet again and I know about a bonding repair treatment that makes this really easy.
